Dave Amis
GM, Texas PI, CFE, MBA, & Lead Instructor
Dave may be the only Colorado Ranger – MBA – Texas PI on the planet.
He specializes in major case fraud, burglary, theft, and semi-public corruption.
Previously DA served as the director of a serial predator lab, a Colorado Ranger, a Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy, and an instructor at the Southwest Regional Law Enforcement Academy.
He is the lead instructor and class designer for StriderPI.
Additional Information
Dave Amis originally conceived “SPIT” when he had difficulty finding the kind of investigators he needed. The very first class was four ladies in their fifties and sixties. Since then, over 60 students have trained with Strider PI. Dave’s background as a police academy instructor, college professor, and law enforcement officer make him an ideal coordinator for the program. Dave was also the original surveillance / counter-surveillance instructor and started that class.

Luke S.
Luke was instrumental in developing the surveillance and counter-surveillance principles at StriderPI and taking both the basic surveillance class and the PI Field Operations Course to higher levels.
He believes in the “learning by doing method” and thinks that mistakes and even embarrassment are great ways to learn. His background as a trained non-permissive environment undercover agent as well as many years in the field, give him unique insight on how to succeed.
Additional Information
Luke is the owner of a high-end digital protection and investigations company which he founded with one of the top OSINT experts in the country. He is also an expert on international recoveries and personal protection for families and executives. With more than 10 years doing undercover work and high-risk international operations, he is a highly experienced surveillance and counter-surveillance operative.

Tuleta C.
Tuleta Copeland was a former FBI Supervisory Agent and a co-founder of the StriderPI Academy.
In 2021, Tuleta created the initial OSINT course for SPIT. She was one of the best known OSINT experts within the Texas PI Community and probably taught more Texas Pi’s than anyone.
At the Bureau, Tuleta specialized in white collar crime but also worked many different kinds of cases including kidnappings, extortion, organized crime, and many more.
Tuleta passed on April 25, 2024.
